Due to the importance of the delegates health, having to be aware of Asbestos Containing Materials is paramount. This course has been developed to enhance the awareness with more emphasis on the requirements placed on the duty holder/appointed person as they are responsible for the day to day management of asbestos.
The UKATA accredited Duty to Manage course covers everything the delegate will need to know to safely manage ACM’s and will cover aspects such as development and monitoring of the Asbestos Management Plan. The course will also cover the following:
This course is designed for professionals that have any maintenance or repair responsibilities on non-domestic premises. The course focuses on the delegate’s obligations of Regulation 4 from the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR). Examples of professions where this will be suitable, but is not limited to:
To undertake this course, the delegate is not required to do any preparation. All successful delegates will receive a UKATA Asbestos Awareness CAT A Certificate and a TTS Duty to Manage Certificate.
